Anwar has appeared before all the courts in Mauritius, in several major arbitrations in Mauritius and the Seychelles and before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. He also sits on the board of two companies quoted on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius.

EDUCATION
After studying Mechanical Engineering in France, Anwar read law at Downing College Cambridge. He was ranked first at the Mauritian Bar Council Examination in 1995 and was awarded the Sir Raymond Hein QC Award. He then joined the Chambers of Sir Hamid Moollan QC in 1996.
