Naasira joined the Chambers of Sir Hamid Moollan K.C. in January 2017.

 Naasira has appeared before various courts in Mauritius in criminal, civil, family, employment and commercial law matters and in disciplinary committees for employers and employees. She also has litigation experience before specialised bodies such as the Employment Relations Tribunal, the Equal Opportunities Commission, Environment and Land Use Appeal Tribunal, Medical Disciplinary Tribunal and the Revenue Tribunal. She regularly advises and assists applicants for making applications to the British authorities for residence and citizenship.

 Naasira teaches various areas of the law at Undergraduate level.

Education

Naasira is an LLB (Hons) graduate from the University of London. In 2015, she was awarded the Postgraduate Diploma, Very Competent, on the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) from the Nottingham Trent University in November 2015.

She was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in December 2015 and the Mauritian Bar in January 2017.
