Saniyya joined the Chambers of Sir Hamid Moollan KC in January 2022.

Saniyya has appeared before various courts in Mauritius in criminal, civil, family, employment and commercial law matters and in disciplinary committees for employers and employees.

She also has litigation experience before specialised bodies such as the Employment Relations Tribunal, Medical Disciplinary Tribunal and the Revenue Tribunal.

EDUCATION

Saniyya is an LLB (Hons) graduate from the University of London. In 2020, she was awarded the Postgraduate Diploma on the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) from the University of West of England, Bristol, UK.

She was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 2020  and the Mauritian Bar in January 2022.
