Shabneez is a member of the Chambers of Sir Hamid Moollan KC., having completed her pupillage under the supervision of Mr Yusuf Aboobaker SC, CSK and Mr Shaukat Oozeer SC.

Prior to her admission, Shabneez gained professional experience in the offshore sector, which provided her with a strong foundation in corporate and cross-border transactions.

She is an accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator, Digital Dispute Resolution Specialist, and Associate Arbitrator with ADR ODR International. She has appeared before the courts of Mauritius in criminal, civil, and commercial matters, as well as before disciplinary committees.

Education

Shabneez read law at the University of Mauritius and the University of Central Lancashire. She completed the Bar Training Course at the University of the West of England, Bristol, where she was awarded a grade of Outstanding.
