Yusuf specialises in civil and commercial matters and has appeared before all the courts in Mauritius.

He was foremely the Chairman of the Electoral Supervisory Commission and Electoral Boundaries Commission, Chairman of the Bar Council of Mauritius, a member of the Law Reform Commission, the National Economic and Social Council, and of the Compliance and Enforcement sub-committee of the National Corporate Governance Committee.

EDUCATION
Yusuf holds a BA (Hons) degree in Economics. He was called to the Bar in England in 1971 and in Mauritius in 1972 and was elevated to the rank of Senior Counsel in 2003.
