Since September 2020, Hishaam has joined the Chambers of Sir Hamid Moollan KC. His practice involves civil, commercial, family, employment and criminal matters. He appears regularly before various Courts in Mauritius. Hishaam is also the holder of several prizes such as the Gordon Woodman Memorial’s Prize and Sir Henry Barber’s Prize.

EDUCATION

Hishaam was awarded the Birmingham Law School Excellence Scholarship and completed his LLB at the University of Birmingham in 2018. He thereafter completed his Bar Professional Training Course in 2019 at the University of Law.

He was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of The Middle Temple in July 2019 and to the Mauritian Bar in September 2020.
